Terms of Service

1. The Service

Homestead Paradise helps you keep records for your homestead — livestock, garden, preservation, and infrastructure — and provides Harold, an AI advisor that offers guidance based on the records you enter.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. Provide accurate information, keep it current, and let us know promptly of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

3. Plans, billing, and cancellation

• The Service offers a Free plan and paid plans (Pro and Max). New accounts include a 14-day full-feature trial, after which the account continues on Free unless you subscribe.
• Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically until canceled. Founding Member plans are billed annually at the rate shown when you join.
• You can cancel anytime from the billing page. Your paid features continue through the end of the current billing period, then your account reverts to Free. Your records remain available on the Free plan.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for partial periods. If something went wrong, email us — we are reasonable.
• We may change prices or plan features with reasonable advance notice; changes do not affect the period you have already paid for.

4. Acceptable use

Use the Service lawfully and as intended. Do not misuse it, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, resell or share access, scrape it, or use Harold to generate unlawful or abusive content. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. Harold is guidance, not professional advice

Harold generates general, informational suggestions from your records. It is not a substitute for professional judgment, and it is not veterinary, medical, legal, financial, or agricultural advice. For serious or worsening animal-health problems, consult a veterinarian. You are responsible for your own decisions, and you should verify Harold's suggestions before acting on them. The health of your animals and crops depends on many factors beyond what any app can see.

6. Your content

Your records are yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process them solely to provide the Service to you — including sending relevant snapshots to our AI provider to generate Harold's replies. We do not claim ownership of your content, and we do not use it to train AI models.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service itself — its software, design, and the Homestead Paradise and Harold names and branding — belongs to 2B Creations. These terms do not give you rights to them beyond using the Service as intended.

8. Availability

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change, or discontinue features over time.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 2B Creations is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of livestock, crops, data, or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or to protect the Service and its users.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will revise the date above, and your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
