Breeding & farrowing
Per-sow breeding cycles, pregnancy checks, and a due date worked from the 114-day gestation. Born-alive and stillborn counts for every litter, with average litter size per sow.
Days to 250 lb
The NSIF adjusted days to 250 lb, the trait the industry selects on. It needs to know gilt or barrow, and it only runs between 150 and 350 lb, a range we set and label.
Health you’d forget
Vaccinations and wormings with a next-due date. “Coming due” surfaces what’s outstanding. The medicine cabinet tracks what’s on the shelf and what’s expiring.
Withdrawal dates
Put the label’s withdrawal on the bottle once. Every treatment saves the clear date, frozen at logging. A butcher date inside it stops the save.

Is this for commercial hog operations?
It’s for the small herd. We use the industry’s real measures, like NSIF days to 250 lb, but the workflow is built for a few sows or a few feeders. If you run a confinement operation, you need different software.
What is “days to 250 lb”?
The NSIF equation adjusts each pig’s age and weight to the number of days it would take to reach 250 lb, so pigs weighed on different days compare fairly. Fewer days is better.
Why does it ask whether she’s a gilt or a barrow?
The equation uses a different constant for each. Without the sex the app shows nothing rather than guessing.
Does it track withdrawal periods?
Yes. Dates are frozen when you log the treatment, and a butcher date inside one stops the save.
